What first drew you to fashion?
What first sparked my interest was probably growing up close to my older bonus sister as a young girl. She used to work at NK in the 00’s and always brought me the best gifts. I especially remember when I got an iconic white tank from Fornarina, with a “Princess Only” print in a pink glitter typo - and I still keep it in my wardrobe to this day.
What’s your favourite vintage find?
Must be my vintage Diesel biker jacket that I found at cheap thrift store in Paris. Feeling like the ultimate hustler when you find that perfect item to a steal price.
Is there a particular era or decade that most inspires your style?
As a girl growing up in the 90’s and 00’s, these eras will always be a substantial part of my style DNA. I feel like the idols I aspired to as a child will always have my heart. Sometimes I wish I was a Carolyn Bessette kind of girl but the truth is I will always choose Paris Hilton as my ultimate style icon. To speak in contemporary terms: brat > demure.
How do you approach adopting for new clothes - are you a planner or spontaneous buyer?
I allow myself to be spontaneous with second hand shopping, but when buying something new, I put a lot more thought behind. Often times, I’m taking my time before committing resulting in when I finally made up my mind the item’s sold out.
What’s the first fashion item you remember falling in love with?
As a ten year old I fell in love with a green Hammarby puffer vest - it’s the local team in the area where I grew up. Til this day I love to give off a sporty vibe, even though I’m in fact not sporty ;)
